Hello lovely readers and welcome to my new home Red’s Runway. To all the readers who used to follow ‘Charlottesweboffashion’ thank you so much for coming along with me on this journey and I am so excited to share my new platform with you all. For those of you that are new readers, a huge thank you for coming to visit my website and I really hope you become inspired by my looks.
To my fellow red heads this first post is for you. Let me be the first to tell you that you can wear what ever colour and what ever style you wish and just because you have red hair does not mean you have to be ‘safe’ with your fashion choices. Express yourself and your personality through your outfits and most importantly always have fun with styling! Having red hair I was always told what I could and couldn’t wear as it would ‘clash’ with my hair colour. One of these colours was orange because of the orange tones within my hair. So for my first post I want to break these rules and show you that a burnt orange can look really striking with red hair. This is a popular colour for this autumn winter with the Seventies trend dominating the high street and so we should be able to work it too.
The A-Line Pelmet skirt and the duster coat are both from Topshop. Mixing these shades of burnt orange channels the boho vibe and these earthy tones can look great mixed in with suede. The simple black turtleneck from Boohoo draws in the black within the skirt and the look is completed with this seasons hottest shoe style; over the knee boots. How can you not love this trend? So Seventies chic! The boots were from Lamoda and were such a good price for the quality and fit. The lace tie at the back is the perfect added touch and for those of you that love and dream for pair of Stuart Weitzman boots, (like myself) but cannot afford the price tag, then these are the perfect substitute.
Keep functioning ,impressive job!
